Israel, sondagens e resultados

Como de costume, remeto para quem sabe fazer mais e melhor. Um breve resumo:

- Kadima ganha, mas abaixo das sondagens, confirmando tendência de descida que vinha desde as eleições palestiniananas;
- catástrofe no Likud; Netanyahu castigado;
- Yisrael Beiteinu passa para terceiro partido, confirmando tendência de subida;
- surpresa: Gil, o partido dos pensionistas, consegue 7 lugares no Knesset;

O Kadima fica na posição privilegiada de partido pivot. Sem eles, não há governo, e podem "escolher", por assim dizer, com quem governar. Tudo se parece encaminhar para uma coligação de centro-esquerda: Kadima, Trabalhistas, Shas (partido sefardita, flexível na questão palestiniana e favorável a políticas sociais) e Gil.

O comentário do Haaretz:

"Those who mocked Labor and Peretz because of their social agenda - saying all that matters in Israel are security-diplomacy issues - will have to think again. It's not just Labor doing better than expected that proves this, but mainly the success of the senior citizens' party. Maybe it's because Israelis are already set on the right solution for the Palestinian issue (i.e. unilateral steps), that they figured that they can now vote on something else."
